4th reading day

We finish up the book by meeting the last few characters and hearing about the clean up of the big top fire. THe police department is trying to find the person who started the fire and to presecute him.

3rd Reading Day

We meet more characters. After they got the fire out which burned for 6 to 10 minutes. They took people to the 2 hospitals in town. The fire killed over 175 people. The tent was covered in a mixture of something a gasoline. This waterproofed the tent. It was a big candle waiting to be lit. It went up so fast the so of the people couldn't even yell for help. People were trampled and die before they actually were burnt by big pieces of burning canvas.

2nd Independent Reading Day

I met some of the characters and found out where it is taking place. It starts in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 6 1944. This book is based off a true event which 167 people killed and 500 injured. in the first part we 9 people and listen to theirhaunting poems of dreams and disaster, heroism, and heartbreak, draw their power from a true event.

Ninth Reading Day

There is many main characters. The entire football team is the main characters.

Sixth day

The sence is when Boobie gets hurt. Im sorry Boobie you will be out of playing football for 6 to 8 weeks. But doc i got to play thats the only think im good at. Im sorry if you play in this condition you could hurt your self permantly.

The scene is when Boobie gets letters from some major colleges. They are asking him to come play for them and he would get a lot of stuff from them. Well In Boobies point of view it would be real hard to pick and also that Boobie is considered mentally disabled. He has a hard time in the classroom with learning. With Boobie in school he has less requirements then everyone else but still gets the same credits, But in collegehe would have a real hard time because they would treat him like everyone else though he has a disability. So he doesn't want to pick one yet because he would alos have to miss his freshman year in college to improve his schooling skills.

In my novel Friday Night Lights the setting takes place in Odessa, Texas in the 1980's and 1990's. The author describes Odessa with lots of details like how dusty and dry it is. Also how everyone acts in Odessa.

I met a character that i thought was a pretty sweet football player. The character is name is Boobie. He is one of the very few, very good football players to play in Odessa Texas. The author revels the character by introducing the football line up. Boobie was one of the first couple. Everyone wanted to be like Boobie. He would get letters from colleages asking him to come play for them. But his life was turned around during a scrimmage game. He was running the ball and he jumps up in the air and when he comes down he is hit in the leg by another football player, and blows his knee out and can't play for six to eight weeks. He tries everything to try and play again and he hurts his future worse by playing to soon and huurts his knee permantly. That is what i think made Boobie stick out from the ret of the football players.
